hey2... harlow peepz... has been quite a long time since i've blogged... been reli reli reli busy... come out of e house in e mornin n come back at nite shagged... haiz... already been n back from ho chi minh, vietnam... haiz... reli a very nice country... i didnt feel like comin back 2 spore when i was there... life there is juz simple... evr since i got back 2 spore, i felt kinda strange... haiz... kinda weird ah... juz went there for like 6 days n 5 nitez... e road there is... wOah... haha... love it... can cross e road like ur father road like tat... lots n lots of scooters can b found there... i almost got hit by a car when i cross e road after comin back 2 spore... haha... thought i was still in vietnam whereby e car or scooter will actuali juz let u cross e road n they will drive arnd u... haha...

k... ijan... since u wan me 2 write an entry on my trip, here goes... hehe... basically, e trip 2 vietnam has taught me somethin... somehow... learned a lot of things... one i gues is 2 appreciate food... coz like over there, evrywhere is beer n esp PORK! =p haiz... was soOoo hard 2 eat halal food there... so basically wat we ate was vegetables n seafood... for the 10 muslims gals n 4 indian gals... our 1st meal in vietnam was basically e worst meal tat we ate in our lives... =p haha... it was purely vegetarian food... eWww!!! 1st we ate was tis lotus stem salad... cant bliv it seh... STEM! i dun even eat tat in spore but howevr, since we were hungry, juz eat la... haiz... e food we ate was course by course... always hav bowls n chopsticks as our cutlery... haha... interestin ah... hmm... vietnam basically has a lot of history esp abt their wars n evrythin... against e french, themselves n e bloody americans... =p visited e war museum n all... was quite crude seh... i mean e chemical war n evrythin... i post up e pics... haiz... we went 2 e cuchi tunnel also whereby e pple there dug up tunnels to fight against e americans... they juz use very simple tools 2 dug up almost 3 storey underground... was cool 2 actuali get inside e small tunnel... they r reli loyal n determined 2 keep their land...

we stayed at tis hotel called metropole hotel... it was quite ok ah... only like 10 mins walk from e central market, Ben Thanh Market where all e things r CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!! haha... e vietnam dong to spore dollar is abt 9451... haha... whereas a US$ is abt 15000 dong... reli cool ah but then sadly i didnt hav much money wit me... cldnt buy much... haiz... we visited e Spore-General Consulate there... e Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) whereby both e vietnamese n spore governments work closely 2gether... in there, we went 2 a factory tat is in e packin business... after tat we went 2 tis golf resort called Song Beh which is juz bside e VSIP... hmm... here is where a bit e chaotic... there was tis roll tat we all thought was juz vegetarian... sooOoo... e muslims took it... when isda was eatin it, suddenly sya came up n say tat there is pork in e roll... we were taken by surprise esp isda as e roll was already halfway in her mouth... it was disgustin basically... turns out tat most of e muslims gals ate it already except 4 me, yasmin n saleha... alhamdulillah... my tutor, mr nicoll tan had 2 comfort some of e gals abt it... e chef make for us a plate of rolls without e pork in it... haha...

i had lots of fun there though i was always tired n sick... haiz... oh well... on e day tat i was goin back 2 spore was Vietnam's Reunification Day... its somethin like a national day whereby e north n south vietnam reunites 2 fight against e americans... missed e fireworks coz me n isda while we were halfway packin, we fell asleep... haha... was e last nite... =p we also had visited 2 universities there... Vietnam University n Ho Chi Minh University of Industry... we managed 2 mingle arnd n evrythin... basically tats e highlites of e trip...

when i came back, i basically juz as ive said, dun wan 2 come back 2 spore... haiz... if i cld, i wld wan 2 stay there somehow... not for a long time ah but as long as dun go back 2 spore... dun wan 2 go back 2 my life... haiz... now im totally broke n evrythin... ive put my dignity n face on e line b4 i went off 2 vietnam... haiz... oh well... been reli tired n evrythin but i cant get much sleep... as usual, has been on autopilot... been reli reli reli busy... haiz... i try 2 update once in a while aight... dun 4get 2 tag... =) i apologise 4 my borin blog... i will try 2 change e layout or makin it nicer but not now... still reli busy... k la... hav 2 wake up early 2moro... tata... =)
